Winter Park, Fla. – Marlin University, the one-of-a-kind, hands-on blue-water fishing educational program, has released its 2012 semester schedule, with courses set in five top billfishing destinations. Each course is a five night/4 day all-inclusive adventure designed to enhance and perfect an angler’s existing blue-water fishing skills. This semester, students can enroll in programs in Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Dominican Republic and Bermuda.

NYDEC Announces Changes to Recreational and Commercial Blackfish Regulations
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has set new recreational and commercial fishing rules for blackfish (tautog) beginning immediately. These emergency changes are necessary to comply with interstate management measures to assist in rebuilding blackfish populations.
